Contract | Days | 4×10-hour shifts, Monday-Thursday, 7:30 AM-6:00 PM | On-call required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in Preoperative and PACU settings
• Support a range of surgical services including orthopedic, general surgery, gynecology, podiatry, pain management, ophthalmology, and endoscopy procedures
• Monitor and assess patients pre- and post-operatively, responding promptly to changes in patient condition
• Participate in on-call rotation as required by the unit
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient documentation in accordance with facility standards

• Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license - must be verifiable via Nursys within the last 2 weeks
• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC only)
• ACLS certification required (AHA or ARC only)
• PALS certification required (AHA or ARC only)
• Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a travel candidate; local candidates are also accepted

• Prior experience in a Preop and/or PACU setting
• Familiarity with a broad range of surgical specialties including orthopedics, ophthalmology, and endoscopy
• Experience working in a fast-paced surgical services environment
