A growing and highly successful plaintiff-side law firm is seeking a Senior Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal to step into a leadership role and help drive the continued growth of its personal injury practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced paralegal who enjoys mentoring others, improving processes, and serving as a key partner to firm leadership.
What You'll Do
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the plaintiff personal injury paralegal team
- Manage case lists, staffing needs, and workflow within the division
- Train, mentor, and support paralegals while helping establish best practices and procedures
- Partner with firm leadership to improve processes and enhance efficiency
- Provide senior-level litigation support on complex and high-priority matters
- Serve as a positive, proactive leader and resource for the team
Qualifications
- 5+ years of plaintiff personal injury litigation experience
- Experience handling cases from complaint through trial
- Strong knowledge of Illinois state and federal court procedures
- Experience with complaint drafting and filing, service of process, written discovery, and case management
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Leadership experience or a strong desire to step into a leadership role
- Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and ambition to grow with the firm
