About the Role
The Company is seeking an SVP for AI Governance to lead the enterprise AI governance function and ensure the responsible scaling of AI across the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the operating discipline, controls, and oversight routines necessary to manage AI risk. This role requires a strategic leader with a strong background in risk management, technology governance, and a deep understanding of AI and its associated concepts. The SVP will work closely with various stakeholders, including second-line and third-line teams, to strengthen the AI risk management framework and prepare for regulatory activities. Key responsibilities include leading the design and implementation of AI governance activities, defining governance strategies, and maintaining a disciplined view of AI use cases and their associated risks. Applicants for the SVP of AI Governance position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and at least 10 years' of experience in risk management, technology governance, or a related field. A proven track record in leading governance, risk, control, or compliance programs in a complex enterprise environment is essential. The role demands strong stakeholder management, influencing skills, and the ability to translate complex AI risk expectations into clear processes and outcomes. Experience in a highly regulated industry and familiarity with AI risk management frameworks and responsible AI principles are highly desirable. The ideal candidate will be a data-driven individual with a strong execution discipline, capable of operating in ambiguity and driving continuous improvement in AI governance capabilities.
