As part of your responsibilities, you’ll provide comprehensive psychological support to students, collaborating with teachers, counselors, and parents to implement intervention strategies and promote optimal learning environments. The position provides a dynamic caseload and requires high adaptability, with assignments that may span several schools within the district.

Qualifications:

• Valid PEL with School Psychologist Endorsement (Illinois)
• Meets all district and state-specific certification standards for school psychologists
• Experience working with preschool- and elementary-aged children preferred
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team
• Comfortable navigating both onsite and virtual platforms for service delivery

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop reports for students’ academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Consult with educators, staff, and families to design effective interventions
• Deliver individual and group counseling as appropriate
• Support the IEP process, ensuring compliance with special education requirements
• Participate in prevention and crisis intervention activities
