Job Summary and Qualifications

• Serves as liaison between the Radiology Department and physician office staff
• Facilitates pre-certifications for referring physicians
• Coordinates scheduling of exams
• Knowledge of Supply Chain policy and procedures
• Properly orders, receives and maintains adequate clerical supplies in the department
• Maintains radiology scheduling system, responsible for system updates

What qualifications you will need:

• Two years prior hospital and/or Imaging related experience preferred with registration processing
• Must be professional and tactful with good judgment in dealing with physicians and their office staff, hospital personnel, visitors and the public
• Must have effective oral and written communication skills

EDUCATION:

Associates Degree in Communications/Public Relations preferred

LICENSURE:

BLS certification through American Red Cross (AHA and military certifications accepted) required upon hire
