Job Summary

We are seeking a Service Engineer with 4+ years of relevant technical experience in an R&D or regulated engineering environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in service engineering, product deployment, configuration, upgrades, troubleshooting, and Tier 3 technical support.

This role involves maintaining service engineering documentation throughout the product lifecycle, supporting product deployments and upgrades, handling customer escalations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Candidates should have knowledge of FDA, ISO, and IEC requirements, design controls, and product lifecycle documentation.

The position is initially 100% onsite in Skaneateles Falls, NY, with the potential for 30 40% remote work later, depending on project deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Service Engineering documentation throughout the product lifecycle.
• Support product deployments, configuration, upgrades, and 5-CI training.
• Provide Tier 3 technical support and manage customer escalations.
• Participate in customer calls and requirements decomposition.
• Lead technical execution and communicate technical risks, issues, and solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement appropriate solutions.
• Support regulated product development and service activities in accordance with FDA, ISO, and IEC requirements.
• Maintain product lifecycle documentation and support design control requirements.
• Collaborate with Engineering, R&D, Quality, and Service teams to support product performance and customer needs.

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher.
• 4+ years of relevant technical experience in an R&D or regulated engineering environment.
• Experience in Service Engineering or a similar technical engineering role.
• Experience supporting product deployment, configuration, upgrades, installation, and troubleshooting.
• Experience providing Tier 3 technical support and handling customer escalations.
• Knowledge of FDA, ISO, and IEC requirements in regulated engineering environments.
• Experience with design controls and product lifecycle documentation.
• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Jira and DevOps tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Ability to participate in customer calls and requirements decomposition.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in medical devices, MedTech, healthcare technology, or life sciences.
• Experience with cloud-based products or solutions.
• Background in an R&D engineering environment.
• Experience providing customer-facing technical support.
• Experience communicating technical risks, issues, and solutions.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional Engineering, R&D, Quality, and Service teams.

Work Requirements
