Step into a rewarding contract role supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a vibrant school setting near Minneapolis, MN. Work full-time during the full school year (FSY) with a weekly schedule of 37.5 hours, engaging with an elementary caseload and making meaningful contributions to students’ communication and learning.
This position begins by providing support for a maternity leave, working closely with the Justice Alan Page team. This initial assignment will continue until Thanksgiving break, after which you’ll have the opportunity to serve in different buildings wherever there is a need for leave coverage, or provide compensatory services to students who previously missed sessions. This variety offers a unique chance to grow your skills while making a positive impact across multiple school communities.
What we’re looking for:
- Current and active Minnesota State License in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience in school-based SLP roles, with knowledge of elementary caseloads and IEP processes
- Exceptional collaboration and organization skills; flexibility to adapt to changing assignments
- Passion for supporting diverse learners and commitment to evidence-based practice
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and deliver services to students with communication needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Track progress and maintain compliance with state and district guidelines
- Adapt service delivery across various sites and caseload needs as assignments shift
