Step into a rewarding contract role providing speech-language services to students ages 4–15 in a vibrant school setting near Dearborn, MI. This opportunity empowers you to make a meaningful difference while collaborating with talented professionals over the academic calendar. You’ll support a diverse group of learners within a manageable caseload, blending your expertise with the school’s dynamic team. Enjoy a consistent schedule of 32 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with the position beginning on 11/26 and continuing through 2/10/27.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in speech-language pathology or a related discipline
- Active and valid SLP licensure in Ohio
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working in educational or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to inclusive, student-centered practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students for communication disorders and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support teams to maximize student achievement
- Maintain organized documentation and progress records
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development
- Foster a positive, supportive learning environment for all ages on your caseload
