Schedule: Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays as needed

Position Summary

Elliott Roofing is hiring a Residential Sales Estimator for our Oklahoma City team.

This is a full-time, commission-based sales role focused on residential roofing and exterior home improvement sales. The right person will inspect homes, meet with customers, prepare accurate estimates, assist with insurance-related projects, and follow up professionally from first contact through signed agreement.

This role requires strong communication, organization, follow-through, and the ability to work with homeowners in a professional and trustworthy manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate new sales opportunities through existing customer interactions, prospecting, referrals, networking, and community involvement
• Conduct thorough roof inspections and exterior property evaluations
• Create detailed sketches, measurements, calculations, and job documentation
• Prepare accurate estimates and present clear recommendations to homeowners
• Assist homeowners with insurance claim-related projects and understand the basic insurance restoration process
• Communicate professionally with customers by phone, text, email, and in person
• Maintain accurate notes, records, photos, and project documentation in the company CRM
• Follow up consistently with leads, estimates, customers, and internal team members
• Attend mandatory sales meetings and scheduled company meetings
• Participate in continuing education and training as scheduled by management
• Represent Elliott Roofing at community service projects, volunteer events, and public relations opportunities
• Maintain an organized calendar and manage multiple customer opportunities at one time
• Work with the production and office teams to help ensure Elliott Roofing’s quality standards are met

Required Qualifications

• Self-motivated, driven, and willing to take ownership of results
• Personable, professional, and able to maintain a positive image with customers and co-workers
• Strong customer service skills, including listening, patience, and clear communication
• Good phone demeanor and professional tone
• Ability to write clear, accurate, and mistake-free customer communications
• Competence in grammar, spelling, and written follow-up
• Basic knowledge of roofing systems or the ability to learn quickly
• Ability to inspect roofs, climb ladders, work outside, and perform tasks that can be physically demanding
• Strong problem-solving ability and willingness to troubleshoot roofing or exterior issues
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage competing priorities
• Ability to maintain an effective calendar that meets customer availability
• Computer and technology proficiency sufficient to use company platforms, CRM, estimating tools, and communication systems
• Team-oriented mindset and willingness to work with others toward a common goal

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior sales experience
• Prior roofing, construction, exterior remodeling, or insurance restoration experience
• Experience using a CRM or estimating software
• Experience working with homeowners in a service-based sales role

Schedule

This is a full-time position.

The standard schedule is Monday through Friday , with some Saturdays as needed based on customer availability, storm season demand, training, or scheduled company events.

Compensation

This is a commission-based sales position with $120,000+ earning potential for a strong, consistent performer.

Actual earnings depend on individual sales activity, follow-up, close rate, production volume, and completed projects. Compensation details will be reviewed during the interview process.
