Description - What You'll Be Responsible For

• Conduct routine and specialized lab tests across various fields such as chemistry, hematology, and immunology, ensuring adherence to established protocols.
• Evaluate test results for accuracy, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and execute regular maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Support specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis when necessary.
• Meticulously document all procedures, participate in training new staff or students, and assist in maintaining the lab's quality standards.
• Ensure a safe, clean working environment and comply with applicable regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education Required

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications Needed

• Obtain ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of hire.
• Maintain certification throughout your employment.
