SENIOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPER
LOCATION
Indianapolis, IN LOCALS- Hybrid 2X/WEEK
REQUIRED SKILLS
- A minimum of 8 years of related application development experience.
- 5+ years with Microsoft's .NET development platforms, specifically .NET Framework 4.6.2 and 4.8.
- Significant experience with C#.
- Entity Framework 6 or earlier using a Database-First approach.
- SQL Server, including writing and troubleshooting complex T-SQL.
- Object-oriented programming and common design patterns.
- Unit testing with NUnit, xUnit, or a comparable framework.
- Continuous integration and continuous deployment using Azure DevOps.
- Working experience on an agile team using Scrum or Kanban methodology.
- Demonstrated experience mentoring, leading, or setting technical direction for other developers.
- Willingness to work in and support legacy codebases, including Classic ASP and VBScript.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including communicating with non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly and efficiently.

- Hands-on Classic ASP or VBScript experience.
- SSIS/DTSX and SSRS.
- Microsoft web or mobile application development (UWP, Xamarin Forms, MAUI).
- Experience working with offshore development partners.
- Experience modernizing or migrating .NET Framework applications to .NET 8 or later.
