Systems Integration Architect, Lead

Salary: $130,000 - 140,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science from an ABET-accredited or CAE-designated institution.
• We require 6+ years of technical experience.
• We require experience aligned with the Core and Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Tasks defined in the DoD Cyber Workforce Framework for Work Role 632 (NIST: SP-SYS-002).
• We require experience with system loading and reconfiguration, user account administration, backup and recovery, troubleshooting, and replacing system components and peripherals.
• We require experience installing software, operating systems, and drivers.
• We require experience with Ansible, Windows 7, Windows 2008, Windows 10, VMware ESXi v5 or later, Windows 2012, Linux, UNIX variants, and Office 365.
• We require experience providing Microsoft SharePoint administration and management support.
• We require experience maintaining equipment operations through Preventive Maintenance Inspections and repair schedules.
• We require CompTIA Security+ certification.
• We prefer FITSP-D, GCSA, GISF, and SSCP certifications.
• We require a current Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
• We require the ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• We require the ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• We require the ability to twist, bend, and squat periodically.

• We participate in J6 IT governance activities.
• We help the Government receive customer and user communications requirements through established processes and tools.
• We oversee the development of technical solutions and coordinate them to ensure compatibility with the HQ USSPACECOM infrastructure.
• We develop and maintain Communication and Information Systems Installation Records and Preventive Maintenance Inspection reports.
• We ensure documentation is prepared to the level agreed upon by the COR and the contractor.
• We provide information to the Government through databases and other tools as required by USSPACECOM processes.
• We develop technical solutions, cost estimates, total cost of ownership and operation data, POA&Ms, LCM inputs and changes, and recommendations.
• We interface with USSPACECOM and external stakeholders in working groups, technical exchange meetings, and other forums.
• We chair or co-chair meetings and working groups on behalf of government representatives as directed.
• We support mission requirements analysis and help develop technical requirements for multi-level classification networks and releasable classification levels.
• We interact with customers and users to develop and review communication system requirements.
• We compare potential needs with existing infrastructure, identify gaps or excess capacity, and integrate communication systems for interoperability.
• We oversee the development and review of CR/TS documentation within a service design package for infrastructure, network, computer systems, software, finance, installation, outside agency coordination, information assurance, and compatibility assurance solutions.
• We provide technical network and systems engineering expertise to document solutions in a service design package that meets customer requirements.
• We work within the J6 IT governance process to help define requirements, develop technical solutions, and build work plans aligned with architectural and information system security guidelines.
• We develop local procedures for preparing and processing communication system requirements.
• We oversee technical solution coordination under the Government-approved communications requirements process documented in a service design package.
• We monitor and inform the requesting organization of requirement status throughout design, implementation, and accreditation.
• We detail infrastructure impact and implementation approach, including system description, points of contact, implementation dates, hardware and software needs, funding, and information classification.
• We determine available resources for equipment installation and maintenance.
• We incorporate requirements into project and implementation plans and coordinate logistics support, technical data, manpower, facilities, packaging, handling, storage, and transportation with the appropriate agencies.
