Key Responsibilities\n \n Conduct one-on-one therapy sessions with clients using telehealth platforms, ensuring confidentiality and comfort throughout the process. \n Facilitate couples therapy, helping partners navigate relationship challenges and enhance communication skills. \n Work with families to resolve complex dynamics, foster healthy interactions, and strengthen relationships. \n Create and implement individualized treatment plans based on thorough assessments and client feedback, emphasizing measurable progress. \n Assess and diagnose mental health disorders utilizing standardized assessment tools and clinical interviews. \n Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care for clients, sharing insights and treatment progress. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n The LMFT will primarily work with a diverse range of clients from various backgrounds in the Baltimore area, focusing on individuals, couples, and families facing a multitude of mental health challenges. Our clientele includes those experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and other mental health concerns. We aim to provide culturally sensitive care that respects the unique needs and circumstances of each client. Qualifications\n \n A Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is essential. \n Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Maryland. \n A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, demonstrating proficiency in therapeutic techniques. \n Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients. \n Proficiency in using telehealth technology for client sessions and documentation. \n Preferred Experience\n \n Experience working in a community health clinic or a similar environment that values diversity and inclusivity. \n Familiarity with evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), or similar methodologies. \n Experience in crisis intervention and management. \n Compensation and Benefits\n The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
