Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work dual modality position as CT Tech/X-ray Tech

• Schedule: 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM (30 minute break) for 3 days and 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM (30 minute break) for 1 day

• 37.5 hours per week

• Free housing provided on first contract

• Work independently without supervision

• Perform CT imaging exams and all diagnostic and fluoroscopic examinations

• Utilize pediatric immobilization devices following safety precautions

• Complete portable and operating room examinations

• Maintain patient documentation including informed consent and chart documentation

• Observe sterile and aseptic techniques when necessary

• Check equipment, supplies and accessories regularly

• Assess physical needs of adult and geriatric patients

• Address special needs of all age groups and assist hearing impaired and physically challenged patients

• Maintain work area orderliness and cleanliness

• Observe radiation safety and bio-safety rules and regulations

• Perform related duties in PACS system

• Must be computer literate

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

• Graduate of Radiologic Technology program required

• ARRT certification required

• NYSDOH License required

• BLS AHA certification required
