ONYX Multifamily Group is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents.

As a Housekeeper, you'll play an important role in keeping common areas, vacant units, laundry areas, and other property spaces clean, organized, and move-in ready. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, has a strong work ethic, and understands the importance of maintaining a comfortable and healthy living environment.

What You'll Own

• Complete daily cleaning tasks throughout common areas, including lobbies, hallways, elevators, and laundry rooms.

• Clean and sanitize high-touch surfaces to maintain a hygienic environment.

• Prepare vacant units for new residents by thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, appliances, and fixtures.

• Help ensure vacant units are clean and move-in ready.

• Collect, wash, and distribute linens and towels in designated common areas.

• Keep laundry rooms clean, organized, and presentable.

• Empty trash bins and remove waste from common areas and rental units.

• Properly dispose of trash and waste in designated containers.

• Maintain an organized inventory of cleaning supplies and materials.

• Monitor housekeeping supplies and coordinate ordering or replenishment as needed.

• Follow company safety policies and applicable safety requirements during housekeeping activities.

• Promptly report safety concerns and maintenance or repair needs.

• Maintain accurate records of housekeeping activities, cleaning schedules, and cleaning-supply inventory.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to perform the essential duties of the position satisfactorily.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness.

• Knowledge of basic housekeeping practices.

• Ability to work independently and efficiently.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

• Strong problem-solving skills.

• Ability to follow company policies, safety procedures, and housekeeping standards.

• Ability to communicate safety concerns and maintenance or repair needs promptly.

• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including occasionally lifting or moving up to 50 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping, property management, or a related field.

• Experience cleaning residential units, common areas, or other property spaces.

• Experience with unit turnovers or preparing spaces for new residents.

• Experience managing cleaning supplies and maintaining an organized inventory.

• Experience working in a multifamily or residential property environment.
