Duration: Temp - 12 months

Pay Range: $21.74/hr (W2)

Shift: 5:45pm to 6:15 am - Continental Work Schedule 2/2/3

Job Description

We are seeking a  Laminator Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in  lamination operations, adhesive mixing, and machine setup and a proven ability to  support safe, accurate, and efficient production to specification .

Responsibilities:

• Assist Laminator Operator I and II by following SOPs and work instructions.
• Mix adhesives according to formulas and verify required quantities for each job.
• Check first-piece conformance to specifications and report quality issues to leadership.
• Set up and operate the lathe machine per operating procedures when needed.
• Interpret job orders and prepare required materials and components.
• Maintain machines and adjacent work areas to SQF standards.
• Utilize satellite containers for hazardous waste and generate waste per SOP-HW-201-09 and SOP-HW-202-09.
• Report all accidents, unsafe acts, and conditions immediately to the shift manager.
• Verify impression rollers needed for four hours and cut or resurface to specifications.
• Report all food safety violations to management.
• Assist the Lam Operator with adding adhesive, changing raw material rolls, and other substrates. Operate the machine for break coverage.
• Participate in Global Performance System activities, including 5Star, Pillar Teams, Audits, and Near Misses.
• Maintain regular, consistent attendance and punctuality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Mechanical aptitude and basic data input skills.
• Proficiency with tape measure and ruler in metric and standard units.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in a high-paced manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with SQF standards and hazardous waste handling.
