A healthcare facility in the Greenville, SC area seeks an experienced Clinical Pharmacist for a 13-week contract opportunity within an inpatient hospital setting. This role offers the chance to contribute clinical pharmacy expertise to a dynamic care team, optimizing medication management and ensuring the highest standards of patient safety.

Location: Greenville, SC
Duration: 13 weeks
Schedule: 8:30 am – 6:30 pm pharmacy hours, working an 8-hour shift
Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage inpatient medication therapies, including critical care drips and controlled substances
• Conduct quality assurance reviews and support medication safety initiatives
• Collaborate closely with healthcare providers to optimize therapeutic outcomes
• Utilize clinical knowledge and hospital protocols to ensure proper medication use
• Complete mandated training modules (1-2 full days) to stay current with facility guidelines

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current South Carolina Pharmacist License required
• 1-5 years of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience preferred; candidates with 2+ years also considered due to the need for minimal training
• Familiarity with administering and monitoring critical medications and drips
• Experience working with controlled substances and quality assurance processes
• Epic electronic health record experience is a plus
• Ability to quickly adapt to fast-paced clinical environments
