Technical Business Analyst

Our client is one of the largest British-American insurance brokers globally, specializing in risk management, insurance and reinsurance brokerage, and investment banking solutions. REQUIREMENTS 5+ years of experience in business analysis Experience with data mapping, SQL, and stored procedures Strong understanding of business goals and ability to assess the impact of requirements on product outcomes and business value Ability to think beyond execution and proactively propose solutions and improvements rather than simply implementing requested tasks Experience in identifying high-value initiatives and contributing to prioritization activities Proven experience in eliciting, analyzing, documenting, and refining business requirements Ability to efficiently decompose complex business needs into clear, actionable tasks and deliverables Strong skills in creating and maintaining documentation (Business Requirements Documents, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, Process Flows) Ability to streamline and optimize requirements analysis and refinement processes Experience collaborating with stakeholders at different levels and across multiple functions Ability to guide stakeholders, challenge assumptions when appropriate, and recommend alternative approaches aligned with business objectives Strong facilitation, communication, and expectation management skills Strong partnership with delivery teams, engineering, and QA to ensure a balance between client expectations and implementation realities Ability to assess delivery impact, feasibility, and implementation efficiency when defining requirements and solutions Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments Strong sense of ownership and accountability for driving analysis activities and outcomes Proactive in identifying risks, dependencies, and opportunities for process or product improvements Ability to take initiative and contribute to decision-making processes Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to influence and challenge ideas constructively Results-oriented mindset Advanced level of English RESPONSIBILITIES Define business needs and business change drivers Manage customer expectations and translate needs into effective solutions Elicit requirements using different BA techniques (interviews, focus groups, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task, and workflow analysis, etc.) Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, and distinguish user requests from underlying needs Document, analyze, and prioritize detailed business requirements based on users and business needs Proactively identify improvements that would increase efficiency or productivity in work effort, processes, or application features Establish and maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders Plan and Coordinate the BA team at the project Conduct BA team coaching and mentoring (subordinate RAs and BAs, QAs, etc.) Contribute to continuous improvement of business analysis practices, as well as other procedures Develop requirements and other project documentation templates WHAT YOU WILL GET WITH ELEKS Close cooperation with a customer Challenging tasks Team of professionals Dynamic environment with low level of bureaucracy ELEKS is a custom software development company.
