Navigating the position: Resource Planning Analyst The Resource Planning Analyst will be responsible for creating objective, data‑driven visibility into capacity, demand, and delivery performance across the organization. This role covers capacity planning, KPI definition and tracking, and cross‑tribe visibility by building consistent, predictive, and reliable insights that enable informed decision‑making by leadership. The role replaces intuition‑based planning with fact‑based analysis to support hiring decisions, prioritization trade‑offs, and forecasting. The ideal person for this role combines strong analytical thinking with excellent interpersonal skills: they can work deeply with data, but also engage effectively with people, ask the right questions, challenge assumptions constructively, and drive alignment across teams. They should also understand how to use AI‑enabled tools and techniques to analyse collected data, identify patterns, improve reporting efficiency, and generate more actionable insights. Key Responsibilities Capacity & Demand Planning Analyze demand versus available capacity to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities Develop forward‑looking capacity forecasts rather than retrospective views Model different scenarios to support prioritization and hiring decisions KPI Reporting Standardize, and maintain delivery and planning KPIs Ensure consistent metrics across tribes and teams Build and maintain dashboards and reports that provide clear, actionable insights Track trends in predictability, utilization, throughput, and bottlenecks Data Management & Insight Generation Consolidate data from multiple sources into a single, reliable view Improve data quality, consistency, and automation of reporting Shift the organization from manual data collection to scalable, repeatable processes Identify systemic issues impacting delivery performance Cross‑Tribe Visibility & Stakeholder Support Provide transparent, objective visibility across tribes Partner with engineering and product leadership to interpret insights Enable leadership forecasting and strategic planning with data‑backed recommendations Support discussions on trade‑offs, sequencing, and investment allocation Proactively facilitate conversations between teams and stakeholders to clarify needs, surface risks, and turn insights into practical decisions Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Strong analytical and data interpretation skills Experience with capacity planning, resource modeling, or workforce planning Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar) Ability to work with ambiguous data and create structure and clarity Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Ability to confidently communicate insights, drive discussions, and influence decisions across engineering, product, and leadership stakeholders Experience working in a multi‑team or matrixed environment (e.g., tribes) Background in engineering, delivery, or agile environments Experience driving automation and process standardization Familiarity with forecasting and scenario planning techniques Exposure to KPI frameworks related to delivery performance and predictability Benefits Premier Health Coverage: Dive into comprehensive health care with Polmed, covering everything from diagnostics to specialist consultations.
