Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of CT experience and active ARRT certification for a variable 12-hour shift assignment in Butte, MT.

Details

• CT department within a hospital setting
• Variable 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week for a total of 36 hours per week
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of CT experience in a hospital setting
• Associate's degree required
• Active BLS (AHA) certification required; must not expire prior to assignment start
• ARRT (R) certification required
• ARRT (R)(CT) certification preferred
• State licensure required if applicable
• Proficiency with CT imaging techniques, protocols, and equipment operation
• Experience with contrast administration and contrast injector operation
• Proficiency with electronic imaging including image viewing, transfer, and manipulation
• Epic EMR experience required
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform a variety of CT procedures using ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes, including contrast-enhanced studies
• Responsible for patient identification, order verification, and patient preparation prior to each exam
• Reviews and evaluates images for quality, clarity, and accuracy to ensure all necessary anatomical structures are captured
• Administers contrast media per protocol under radiologist or physician supervision and educates patients on contrast safety
• Adheres to radiation safety guidelines, infection control protocols, and maintains a clean and safe work environment
• Maintains accurate records of patient information, procedures performed, and any adverse reactions or incidents
• Assists and instructs students and other radiology technologists in exam protocols, positioning, and equipment use
• Participates in continuing education and professional development to stay current with CT technology and techniques
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
