Check out our investors and read more about us here. About the team Alloy's People team is small, senior, and rebuilding the function from the systems up. We run on Rippling and Ashby, we are actively replacing the tools we have outgrown, and we are wiring people data into the same business intelligence the rest of the company runs on. This role is the first of its kind at Alloy, which means the architecture is yours to define rather than inherit. Alloy operates in a hybrid-work environment. We look to foster collaboration and community by having our local employees onsite three days a week. What you'll do Our People function is moving toward operating like a GTM motion: networked, data-fluent, and quick to act. You will be the infrastructure that makes that possible, and the technical partner the CPO leans on to turn people problems into systems and data solutions. Own the end-to-end architecture of Alloy's People tech stack, from Rippling and Ashby through to adjacent tools, so data flows cleanly and every system has a single source of truth Evaluate, pilot, and implement AI-native, agentic tooling across the employee and candidate lifecycle, and automate the manual work of onboarding, offboarding, org changes, and comp cycles that currently absorbs the People team Lead the overhaul and replacement of legacy People systems, and independently drive the build-versus-buy decisions that come with it Build the integrations and data pipelines connecting People systems to business intelligence and revenue systems, so talent data can be read against business outcomes the way pipeline data is read against revenue Design and maintain self-service reporting for workforce planning, hiring funnel health, retention, performance, and org design, so leaders answer their own questions instead of waiting on a report Establish data governance across every People system: access controls, audit trails, and quality standards, with lineage clear enough that any number traces back to its source Partner with IT and Security on system security, SSO, and compliance requirements including SOC 2 and data privacy What we're looking for Must-haves: 4+ years in People Systems, People Analytics, HRIS, or a comparable technical operations role, ideally at a high-growth tech or fintech company Hands-on depth with modern HR tech stacks such as Rippling and Ashby, or comparable HRIS and ATS platforms, including configuration, API and integration work, and data architecture Strong SQL and data modeling skills, with reporting you have built yourself in Looker, Tableau, or a similar BI tool A track record of leading system migrations or consolidations, not just maintaining what already exists Sharp judgment on data privacy, access, and governance in a regulated or compliance-sensitive environment The ability to translate technical systems work into business impact for non-technical stakeholders, including executives Nice-to-haves: Experience integrating HR systems with business and revenue systems such as Salesforce or Gong Experience evaluating or implementing AI-native automation tools Background in fintech or another regulated industry Experience building talent intelligence or workforce planning models, or familiarity with compensation and equity systems Alloy is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Below is the anticipated starting base compensation range for this role; however, pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, in-demand skills, relevant experience, and/or geography. In addition to a competitive base salary, this position is also eligible for equity awards in the form of stock options (ISOs) as well as a competitive total benefits package.
