Details Work in a 51-bed Level III Neonatal ICU within a children's hospital setting Unit staffed with RNs, charge RNs, respiratory therapists, and techs across day and night shifts Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:4 depending on acuity Uses Cerner EMR Night shift schedule from 6:45PM to 7:15AM Required to work every other weekend Floating required to Peds, PICU, and Mother Baby (babies only) units Requirements Active RN license (NC or Compact) Current NRP certification required; NIC-RNC preferred Minimum 2 years of Level III or higher NICU experience preferred No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months Additional Information Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill neonates in a Level III NICU Work within a large academic-affiliated children's hospital known for pediatric subspecialty care Navy blue scrub attire required Detail-oriented and organized personality is ideal for this role Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this travel position American Traveler Job ID P-740262.
