Position Overview

We are on the lookout for a dedicated and skilled Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join a team of imaging professionals committed to providing outstanding care. You will utilize cutting-edge ultrasound technology to execute diagnostic procedures, collaborate with an encouraging cohort of clinicians, and enhance the experience of patients through accurate and timely imaging.

Responsibilities Include

• Conduct a variety of ultrasound exams, encompassing abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during all examinations while elucidating each procedure with empathy
• Work in close alignment with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver top-quality diagnostic images
• Effectively operate and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting any malfunctions
• Meticulously document procedures and manage patient records within the electronic medical system
• Remain informed about new developments in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
