Job Summary:
As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors. Your primary duties will include managing appointments, greeting patients, maintaining patient records, and supporting our healthcare team. You will ensure the office runs efficiently while offering excellent service and maintaining a positive and welcoming atmosphere for patients.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and check in patients in a friendly and professional manner.
Schedule and confirm patient appointments, managing cancellations and rescheduling efficiently.
Answer and direct phone calls, providing accurate information and handling patient inquiries.
Maintain and organize patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Verify insurance information and assist with billing inquiries.
Assist with administrative tasks, including filing, faxing, and data entry.
Ensure the office and waiting areas are clean, organized, and welcoming.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in office administration is a plus.
Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a healthcare setting is preferred.
Proficiency in using office equipment and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Attention to detail and a strong ability to manage confidential information.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
