Overview Position: Senior Ruby on Rails (ROR) Developer Experience: 10+ Years Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ruby on Rails Developer with over 10 years of expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining complex web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong problem-solving abilities, experience in leading development teams, and a deep understanding of scalable application architecture. Key Responsibilities Lead the design, development, and deployment of high-quality web applications using Ruby on Rails. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, DevOps, UI/UX) to deliver robust software solutions. Architect and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions. Mentor and guide junior developers, perform code reviews, and enforce coding standards. Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues. Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and other external services. Stay updated with emerging trends, tools, and technologies in web development. Required Skills & Qualifications 10+ years of professional experience in Ruby on Rails development. Strong expertise in Ruby, Rails framework, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts. Solid understanding of MySQL/PostgreSQL, Redis, and database optimization. Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party integrations. React/Angular/Vue.js (preferred). Experience with Git/GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment tools (Capistrano, Docker, Kubernetes is a bonus). Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Nice to Have Experience in Agile/Scrum development methodologies. Knowledge of Microservices Architecture and Event-driven systems.
