Lateral Attorneys

The Firm seeks a Litigation Associate with at least two years of experience to join the Firm in their civil litigation practice.  Matheny Sears handles complex high-exposure civil cases throughout California. We are looking to hire a litigation associate with two to five years of litigation experience, excellent writing and advocacy skills, and be comfortable and competent to step into cases and prepare them for trial on tight time-frames. Willingness to travel and an ability to think outside the box are required.   Applicants also must have experience with all aspects of discovery and law and motion practice. Familiarity with personal injury claims, products liability, public entity defense, or employment law is preferred, but not required.  Must be a current, active member of the State Bar of California.
