Business Development Manager

HeartMates HomeCare is a licensed non-medical home care agency in Florida focused on helping older adults remain safe, supported, and independent at home. The agency provides homemaker and companion services, including companionship, daily routine support, errands, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and general in-home assistance. HeartMates is currently positioned for growth, with licensing, documentation, and core operational processes already in place. Role Description We are looking to connect with a Business Development Manager with experience in healthcare, senior care, home care, home health, or related referral-based services. This role is focused on helping expand HeartMates HomeCare’s presence in the Florida market through referral relationships, community partnerships, healthcare connections, and payer or senior-care opportunities. The ideal person understands how the home care or healthcare ecosystem works and can help open doors with referral sources, care partners, senior communities, healthcare professionals, and organizations that serve older adults and families. This is a growth-focused opportunity for someone who can bring industry knowledge, relationships, and commercial execution to an agency that already has the operational foundation in place. Key Areas of Focus Build and manage referral relationships with healthcare and senior-care organizations. Identify growth opportunities in private pay, community partnerships, and payer-related channels. Represent HeartMates HomeCare professionally in the local market. Support outreach, relationship development, and strategic growth initiatives. Work closely with leadership to evaluate market opportunities and growth priorities. Ideal Background Experience in home care, home health, healthcare business development, senior services, payer relations, or referral partnerships. Existing relationships in healthcare, senior care, community organizations, or related markets are highly valued. RN, Home Health Administrator, Director of Nursing, healthcare sales, or payer relations experience is a plus, but not required. Strong communication, relationship-building, and follow-up skills. Ability to operate independently and help grow a business in an early-stage environment.
