Truck Driver/Mover

The ideal candidate will be a dynamic professional with a flawless attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to provide world‑class service to our exclusive clientele. Pay Range $24.00/hr - $28.00/hr Essential Functions Drive a truck with a capacity of more than 3 tons to transport and deliver cargo, materials, furniture or artwork. Maintain radio or telephone contact with the base supervisor to receive instructions or be dispatched to new locations. Maintain a truck log according to state and federal regulations. Obey all traffic regulations from city, state and federal laws. Keep a record of materials and products transported. Position blocks and tie rope around items to secure cargo for transport. Clean, inspect and service the vehicle. Operate equipment on the vehicle to load, unload or disperse cargo or materials. Obtain customer signature or collect payment for goods delivered and delivery charges if needed. Assist in loading and unloading the truck manually. Other duties assigned by management. Qualifications Experience moving furniture, fine art and antique products is preferred. Ability to read, write and comprehend the English language. Must have a clean and valid driver’s license. Experience working in a similar industry is a plus. Understand how to properly load and unload merchandise from trucks. Excellent communication (verbal and written) and organization skills. Extreme attention to detail. Work Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; able to bend, stoop, climb and pull. Ability to perform strenuous physical labor on a regular basis. Ability to work under pressure and maintain calm composure. Must be authorized to work in the United States.
