Human Resources Generalist

Job SummaryUnder general supervision, performs general administrative functions and a variety of routine to complex clerical, financial, and administrative support in human resources and general administrative functions of the organization including, but not limited to recruitment, selection, compensation, benefits, and training. The incumbent provides general information and assistance to other staff, departments, and the public.Distinguishing CharacteristicsThis is an intermediate-level Human Resources position and provides a variety of technical level support for the organization's administrative and personnel functions. This is a confidential position with intimate knowledge and proximity of employee pay and benefits, policies and policy development, union contract negotiations, and other management decisions affecting the personnel system.Licensing, Education, & Other RequirementsAny combination of training, education, and experience that would provide the required knowledge and abilities.
