Travel Occupational Therapist

Make a meaningful difference as a travel occupational therapist. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate occupational therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily skills while working in Arlington, TX at a hospital setting. The role involves evaluating and treating neuro and orthopedic in-patient rehab patients as well as performing acute evaluations and treatments for orthopedic, telemetry, and ICU patients. Candidates must follow the facility dress and appearance guidelines.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active Texas OT license required to start the assignment. No temporary licenses allowed.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum 2 years of hospital experience. Must have in-patient rehab and/or acute hospital experience.
• Experience with inpatient rehab occupational therapy including neuro and ortho patient evaluations and treatments.
• Experience with acute care evaluations and treatments (ortho, telemetry, ICU).
• Documentation experience with Meditech preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2–3 years of combined experience in rehab and/or acute hospital settings preferred.
• Prior experience floating to other units as needed preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 0800–1630.
• Weekend schedule: rotating weekends.
• Guaranteed hours: 36.
• Floating: may be required to float to other units as needed.
• Documentation system: Meditech.
