Negotiable Job Description Job Summary and Responsibilities As a physician-facing organization, our Physician Group is passionate about high-value, top quality care made accessible in every community we serve. As a Palliative Care Physician, you will provide comprehensive symptom management, goals-of-care discussions, and supportive care for patients with serious illness. Care is delivered in alignment with established clinical standards, ethical guidelines, and best practices in palliative medicine. The role offers a collegial, multidisciplinary support team within a well-established tertiary referral network, along with a strong physician-facing infrastructure designed to reduce administrative burden and allow providers to focus on patient care. Physicians also benefit from practice in a Magnet-designated hospital recognized for nursing excellence and high standards of clinical care. This is an opportunity to practice meaningful medicine with strong interdisciplinary support, flexible scheduling, and the infrastructure needed to focus fully on patient care. Job Requirements Experienced physicians and graduating fellows/residents pursuing palliative care physician and hospice medicine career opportunities are encouraged to apply. You will be working with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
- Strongly recommend successful completion of a palliative care fellowship (Physicians with a background in pain management/anesthesia may also be considered)
- Obtain and maintain an unrestricted Drug Enforcement Agency ("DEA") registration
- Be board certified or eligible in the appropriate specialty, by a board acceptable to Hospital
- Obtain Medical Staff Privileges within the Health system, at sponsoring institution
- Doctorate MD or DO required
- DR-Current and unrestricted license to practice medicine in applicable state required
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Flexible options: 4x10s or 5x8s
