Position: Steel Warehouse Associate - Bilingual
Location: Downtown Atlanta, GA (30315)
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 4:45pm - 2:45am (would train on 1st shift 7:00am – 5:45pm)
Pay: $18-20 per hour
Job Type: Temp-to-hire

Job Summary:

We are hiring a Warehouse Associate for a client to support daily warehouse and production operations within a steel processing environment. This role works cross-functionally with production and shipping teams to ensure accurate material handling, packaging, and on-time order fulfillment.

This is an industrial facility and is NOT climate controlled—candidates must be comfortable working in hot, cold, and varying conditions.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts to move raw and finished steel products throughout the facility

• Build pallets and package materials using steel banding tools and equipment

• Verify weights of finished goods for accuracy and quality control

• Assist with loading and unloading trucks for shipping and receiving

• Verify incoming and outgoing materials against work orders and packing slips

• Support machine operators by staging raw materials and removing finished product from processing lines

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times

• Follow all safety protocols including PPE, forklift safety, and proper material handling procedures

Must Haves:

• Forklift experience or willingness to obtain certification

• Ability to lift 50–75 lbs regularly

• Comfortable working with heavy steel materials (coils, sheets, bar stock)

• Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled industrial environment

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow work instructions

• Reliable attendance and team-oriented mindset

Preferred Skills:

• Bilingual in English/Spanish

• Prior industrial warehouse experience

• Experience in steel processing or manufacturing environments

• Familiarity with steel banding tools and packaging methods

• Basic understanding of shipping and receiving processes
