As a CNA for Homeland Center, you will be contributing to a culture of care by providing hands-on care for residents within a skilled nursing setting.

• This opening requires a valid Pennsylvania Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) license.
• This opening is for First (7am-3pm) shift.
• Full-time, part-time, and per diem opportunities.

Responsibilities include:

• Attending to residents' needs according to care instructions.
• Recording vitals and communicating observations, including reporting changes in condition, bruises, skin tears, or unusual marks.
• Assisting with ADLs, including transporting to bathroom, ambulating, turning, repositioning, feeding, assisting with hydration, bathing, etc..
• Adhering to all Nurse Aide Certification standards, including following HIPPA Regulations, following all safety policies and procedures, and maintaining a high level of competency related to nursing assistant skills.

Requirements include:

• Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of a state approved CNA education and training program.
  • Prior experience with Geriatric residents preferred.
  • General understanding of medical terminology
• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
  • Valid and Current CNA Licensure from the State of Pennsylvania
• Computer Skills:
  • Experience and familiarity with electronic charting programs or willing to be trained.
• Other Skills:
  • Team Player that is willing to assist in the accomplishment of the overall goal of the facility and for the benefit of our residents.
  • Exceptional compassion and caring towards others.
  • Ability to understand and follow basic directions related to resident care.
