Culinary Assistant

Job Overview We are looking for a Server/Culinary Assistant to join our team! This role is responsible for dining room meal service to our senior residents and maintaining supplies in the kitchenettes for our Ebenezer Assisted Living Community - Aurora on France in Edina, MN. This nutrition services schedule includes: 64 hours per two weeks Day/Evening shift Every other weekend Server/Culinary Assistant duties include: Serves prepared meals to residents and ensures the dining area is clean and inviting Promotes and encourages positive resident relations and happiness with their meal service Sanitizes equipment, work areas and maintains supplies Assists with meal prep and special events Provides kitchen support when needed with dish washing and cleaning of floors Answers phones and communicates requests appropriately Qualifications: No previous experience required, but prior work in customer service preferred Excellent customer service skills, teamwork and positive demeanor required Desire to work with seniors Ability to interact compassionately and communicate effectively with residents and staff Benefit Overview Ebenezer offers a generous benefits package, including medical, dental, vision plans, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, PTO and Sick and Safe Time, tuition reimbursement, retirement, early access to earned wages, and more!
