Associate Director, Global Commercial Project Management

Gilead Sciences seeks an Associate Director of Global Commercial Project Management to oversee early commercialization and commercialization team initiatives, primarily in Liver and Inflammation. The role coordinates cross-functional teams, manages project governance, and ensures strategic execution of commercial programs in a dynamic, global environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic execution and governance of commercialization team initiatives and priorities
- Manage project communications, stakeholder updates, meetings, and progress tracking activities
- Identify and resolve issues threatening strategic goals through corrective action planning
- Develop and maintain project infrastructure including timelines, dashboards, and deliverable tracking
- Organize and lead preparation of governance and executive presentations and documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of project management experience in biopharma
- Master's degree with 8+ years of relevant biopharma project management experience
- 4+ years leading cross-functional commercialization teams in biopharma
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects with multiple workstreams simultaneously
- Strong project management lifecycle knowledge, best practices, and tool proficiency
- Advanced communication skills across functional and leadership levels
- Leadership presence with ability to influence and lead without direct authority
