Marketing Content Specialist

College Raptor is looking for a savvy marketing writer to bring their skills to our team of entrepreneurial thinkers and doers. In this role, you’ll be working with our tech, marketing, and product teams to help brainstorm, research, and execute content marketing strategies to drive and grow traffic to our higher education website. We’re moving fast and need people who, given a clear goal, can prioritize projects and tasks, and meet deliverables in a self-directed fashion. This position can be either full or part time and will report to our Director of Marketing. Requirements Strong English writing abilities Examples of your own work, writing and producing content articles for the web Creative thinking and brainstorming ability Ability to multitask and juggle multiple projects with ease Knack for taking complex ideas/processes (e.g., college financial aid) and boiling them down into something that’s easy to understand Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS Nice to have Experience with WordPress Journalism and interviewing experience Existing college admissions or financial aid knowledge Strong Excel and basic data analysis skills Knowledge of general SEO best practices Experience using Google Keyword Planner, Ahrefs, or other tools to conduct content and keyword research We offer competitive salaries based on experience and a full suite of employee benefits including health insurance, life insurance, and a 401(k) retirement plan with a company match.
