Manager, Accounting

Job Overview Manager of Accounting – Report, prepare financial statements, assist with complex transactions, develop controls, enhance forecasting, and coordinate audits. Responsibilities Support the controllership with monthly, quarterly and annual reporting. Assist with accounting analysis for complex transactions (e.g., acquisitions, financing, restructuring, compensation programs) under both IFRS and US GAAP. Prepare financial statements under GAAP for auditor review, including note disclosure. Assist with development of controls and processes. Build out the forecasting function and prepare forecasts of P&L. Serve as a bridge between auditors (both internal and external) and accounting and operational staff to ensure a smooth audit (preparation of reconciliations, working papers, sample testing, etc.). Qualifications & Requirements US CPA required. Experience with a Big 4 professional accounting firm preferred. Experience with ERPs preferred (e.g., Workday). Competencies Accuracy Analytical/Critical Thinking Communication Financial Acumen Judgment Physical Requirements Capable of working in an office environment, including prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
