Accountant I

Temporary/Contract Position ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Accounting reconciliations, process and post assigned daily transaction activity as needed and assigned. Scanning reconciliations and work papers as needed. Responsible for prompt and timely payment of vendors in accordance with established policy and procedures. Responsible for assigned monthly duties associated with accounts payable including but not limited setting up new vendors, Sales Tax, Fixed Assets, etc. Other monthly or weekly duties as assigned including projects. Provides the best service to our customers with innovative and creative solutions. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Minimum of 4 years prior experience with large business accounting systems. Education may substitute for experience. Good knowledge of accounting principles, analyzing and interpreting data. Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Ability to deal with time constraints and strong attention to detail. Extended hours sitting and performing computer tasks may be required.
