Job Description

This role combines janitorial and shipping clerk responsibilities in a state-of-the-art corporate facility. You will perform daily cleaning and housekeeping tasks, support shipping and mailroom operations, and provide courteous customer service to internal stakeholders. The position requires regular lifting of 50+ pounds, strong attention to detail, and the ability to maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning and housekeeping duties, including sweeping, trash removal, and general facility upkeep.
• Handle general labor tasks such as moving, lifting, and organizing materials weighing 50+ pounds on a regular basis.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in common areas, offices, restrooms, and other assigned spaces.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service to employees and visitors when responding to cleaning or facilities-related requests.
• Support shipping operations by picking and packaging orders for shipment according to site procedures and customer specifications.
• Route items accurately to the proper departments or storage areas in a timely manner.
• Assist with mailroom activities, including receiving, sorting, and distributing mail and packages as needed.
• Maintain accurate inventory of shipping materials and supplies, and report low stock levels when necessary.
• Keep the shipping, mailroom, and storage areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
• Follow all site policies and procedures related to safety, cleanliness, and security within the facility.

Essential Skills

• Ability to safely lift and move 50+ pounds on a daily basis.
• Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience in a professional setting.
• Customer service experience interacting with internal or external stakeholders.
• Experience with shipping, mailroom, or related logistics tasks.
• Strong attention to detail when cleaning, routing items, and packaging orders.
• Ability to maintain accurate inventory records and follow written procedures.
• Reliability and punctuality to support a consistent 1st shift schedule.

• Experience working in a corporate or office environment.
• Familiarity with general labor tasks in a facilities or warehouse setting.
• Ability to multitask between janitorial, shipping, and mailroom duties.

Work Environment

This position is based in a state-of-the-art corporate facility that serves as a global headquarters in Malvern. The work is performed on a 1st shift schedule, typically from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. You will work in a professional office and building environment that includes common areas, offices, restrooms, storage areas, and shipping/mailroom spaces. The role involves regular physical activity, including standing, walking, lifting 50+ pounds, and moving materials throughout the facility. The setting emphasizes cleanliness, organization, and adherence to site safety and operational procedures, with a professional appearance expected in alignment with a corporate headquarters environment.

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract position based out of Malvern, PA.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
