University Health - San Antonio University Health is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) physician to join our growing Women's Service Line in San Antonio, Texas. This is a full-time, employed opportunity with a primary focus on outpatient high-risk obstetric care, supporting two new community hospitals—Palo Alto Hospital and Retama Hospital—both scheduled to open in 2027. These state-of-the‑art facilities are designed to expand access to high-quality care across the region while remaining closely integrated with the system's tertiary care center. This role will primarily involve outpatient management of high-risk pregnancies, with inpatient responsibilities and complex cases supported by University Health's main Labor & Delivery unit. The position offers a predictable weekday schedule (Monday‑Friday, daytime hours) with no routine weekend or holiday clinical responsibilities. Call coverage is shared and primarily consultative, ensuring appropriate triage and transfer of higher‑acuity patients to the main campus, resulting in a relatively light call burden.
