Pay range: $20-$26/ hour (based on experience)
Location: Cable Dahmer Buick GMC - 907 W 104th St, Kansas City, MO 64114
Full-Time | Monday - Friday | 9:00am - 6:00pm


Cable Dahmer Automotive is looking for an experienced Assistant Parts Manager to join our team! We're seeking someone with a strong background in dealership parts operations, ideally with GM experience, who's ready to take on a leadership role supporting our Parts Department.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, and passionate about creating a seamless experience for both our team members and customers. You'll assist with day-to-day operations, manage inventory, support our counter staff, and help drive department performance and efficiency.


What You'll Do:
-Support the Parts Manager in daily operations and workflow of the department.
-Oversee counter operations, ensuring accuracy and timely service for internal and external customers.
-Manage inventory levels, process orders, handle returns, and maintain vendor relationships.
-Collaborate with Service and Sales Departments to ensure parts availability and timely delivery.
-Help train and develop team members, promoting a positive and productive environment.
-Monitor department performance and assist in achieving sales and profitability goals.
-Maintain compliance with company policies, manufacturer requirements, and safety standards.

What We're Looking For:
-3+ years of experience as a Parts Counterperson, Assistant Parts Manager, or similar role in a dealership setting.
-GM experience preferred.
-Strong knowledge of automotive parts and inventory systems.
-Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
-Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
-Proficient with DMS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
-Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
