AP Specialist II

Insight Global is seeking multiple AP Specialists for a top client in the services/operations space. These individuals will support the full lifecycle of incoming utility invoices during a major operational transition. Handling a high volume of documents, they will ensure each invoice is accurately coded and delivered to the payments team, while also communicating with vendors and internal groups. This role is fully onsite and highly teamoriented with a comprehensive training period ahead of a largescale merger. Ideal candidates are detaildriven, strong communicators, and thrive in structured, highvolume workflows.
• Receive and manage 2M+ annual utility invoices (gas, water, electric, trash etc.)
• Process invoices arriving via edelivery, 3rdparty systems, or physical mail
• Accurately code each invoice to the correct internal group
• Route coded invoices to payments teams for processing
• Communicate with utility vendors when issues or clarifications arise
• Participate in a collaborative onsite team responsible for workload distribution
• Support operational transition as accounts shift during the merger

Required Skills & Experience
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Comfort making outbound calls to utility companies
• Ability to work well in teamoriented, onsite environment
• Reliability and consistency with highvolume workload management
• Associates or Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience


Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Prior experience handling utility invoices
• Previous AP or invoice coding experience
• Exposure to edelivery or 3rdparty invoice management systems
• Familiarity with highvolume data/document processing
