Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager

Accounting ManagerReporting to the Assistant Controller, the Accounting Manager will lead our Accounting Operations team, manage the month end close, and play a key role in scaling and improving the company's financial processes. Leading a team focused on accounting activities related to general ledger accounting functions such as cash, intercompany, inventory, prepaids, and accruals, you will coach, mentor and develop team members to their full potential, ensuring they have the tools, training and resources to excel in their work. In this highly cross-functional role, you will work closely with a variety of AMP departments to include Revenue, Central Operations, Legal and Strategic Finance.Position Overview:Responsible for critical accounting areas, including cash, prepaids, accruals, intercompany, as well as transfer pricingMaintain inventory rigor, reconciliation, and accurate COGS entriesDirectly work on and manage all activities and functions related to AMP Accounting OperationsAnalyze complex financial data, identify trends, and make informed recommendationsSuccessfully lead and develop high-performing accounting teamManage the month-end close process, including reconciliations and analytical reviewRequirements:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent), CPA preferredMulti-state, multi-site, multi-entity experience required2+ years successfully leading a team (as a Senior Accountant or Manager equivalent)Minimum of 5+ years of progressively responsible accounting experience (blend of public and industry accounting)Experience with general ledger accounting, including cash, prepaids, accruals, intercompany transactionsStrong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting principlesExperience working in high-growth environments with strong processes and controls, superior project management and documentation skillsAt AMP, our mission is to amplify confidence and enhance lives by elevating the delivery of exceptional aesthetic care through innovative solutions and collaboration with our partner practices.Through expert care, innovative services, and personalized attention, we help each patient feel their best, inside and out.
