Human Resources Generalist Full Time Professional Houston, TX, US RMS Inc. is looking for an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team. The Human Resources Generalist will aid with and facilitate human resource processes at all business locations and lead site‑specific needs. This on‑site position is located in Houston, Texas. The HR Generalist performs duties at a professional level in employee relations, HRIS support, onboarding, benefits, administration, and record keeping. The role requires a perceptive individual who can relate to people at all levels and is sensitive to corporate and employee needs. The position is a 40–45‑hour work week with occasional weekends or evenings based on business needs. It reports to the Director of Human Resources.

Technologies Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Proficient with human resource information system (HRIS) and similar computer applications. Must have basic knowledge of Excel formulas, Microsoft Outlook, and Word formatting.PRIMARY ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
HRIS system support on current modules, reporting, and system usage. Conduct new‑employee orientations, participate in and follow up with complete and accurate employee onboarding. Conduct employee terminations and follow up with complete and accurate record keeping. Provide support to the local safety representative on OSHA tracking/reporting. Update ADP Main Page with events or required documentation. Assist the Benefit Specialist with the ADP open enrollment process and upload plans to the ADP main page. Assist with monthly benefit and headcount reporting. Provide recruitment support, including resume reviews, phone screen scheduling, interviewing, and collaboration with hiring managers. Monitor employee engagement at the site to maintain a high‑level of satisfaction. Help plan and execute employee engagement activities and initiatives. Understand business goals and objectives and proactively recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures for continual improvement. Foster collaborative relationships built on trust, reliability, and a customer‑centric approach. Maintain all aspects of associate record‑keeping and administrative processing. Ensure compliance posters are displayed for all OSHA, federal, state, and local employment requirements. Act as the first point of contact for all employee relation issues and report escalations to the Vice President of Human Resources. Assist with recruitment needs for all locations. Assist with investigations. Travel to other RMS locations for coverage, events or training purposes. 5+ years of HR experience in a complex, dynamic environment. Background in HRIS, benefits, employee relations, and administration is highly desirable. International HR experience is helpful but not required. Passion and drive for HR; takes initiative and continuously evolves. Builds trust, has professional credibility, and delivers results. Works with strong integrity and confidentiality. Positive problem‑solving approach. Demonstrates successful collaboration with a service‑oriented mindset. Interface with all levels of the organization. Strong sense of urgency and ability to multitask. Accuracy and thoroughness in record keeping. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and ADP. Flexibility. Professional appearance. Resourceful and proactive in handling issues. Organize, multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently under pressure. Handle stressful situations professionally. Currently has no direct supervisory responsibilities but may mentor or train other department positions.REQUIRED EDUCATION
Associate or Bachelor degree in Human Resources or Business Management, or a minimum of 5 years of related field experience. Experience with ADP Workforce Now (preferred).ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
The position is full‑time and based in Houston, Texas. Travel expected 0–10%. Expected minimum of 40–45+ hours per week; additional evenings or weekends may be required. Participation in random drug/alcohol screening and background check. Ability to lift 30 lbs. Professional handling of stressful situations. Basic English reading, writing, and speaking. Outgoing personality for company interaction. Organization skills for multiple deadlines and priorities. Valid driver’s license. Legal work‑status in the US with proper documentation. Ability to sit for long periods and reach above head, bend, and stand. Pass pre‑employment drug/alcohol test and background check. Office Environment: The employee may work in a shop environment with moderate noise and metal particles; the area will be generally clean and safe.WHAT WE OFFER
