Eurest is seeking an accomplished Sous Chef to join our team at the Delta Sky Club at ATL airport, an exclusive premium lounge. This is a unique opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise in a sophisticated setting where elevated cuisine, impeccable presentation, and world-class service come together to create memorable dining experiences for travelers from around the globe.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assists the Executive Chef with managing cost controls and controlling expenditures for the account
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop a high-performing culinary team.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, HACCP, and workplace safety standards.
• Assists the Executive Chef with planning and creating menus
• Produces and executes catering events
• Rolls out new culinary programs in conjunction with Company marketing and culinary team

Preferred Qualifications:

• A.S. or equivalent experience
• Some progressive culinary/kitchen management experience, depending upon formal degree or training
• Catering experience is highly desirable
• High volume, complex foodservice operations experience - highly desirable
• Institutional and batch cooking experience is highly desirable
• Comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
• Must be experienced with computers, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Outlook, e-mail, and the Internet
• Must be willing to participate in client satisfaction programs/activities
• ServSafe certified - highly desirable
