Applied AI/ML Engineer

Salary: $145,000 - 185,000 per year Requirements:

• 3–5 years of software engineering experience, including 1–2 years of hands-on work with LLMs in production environments
• Strong Python skills
• Understanding of prompt engineering as an engineering practice, including version control, testing, and measurement of output quality
• Experience parsing and validating structured outputs from LLMs
• Ability to assess evaluation quality and explain how to identify output regressions
• Nice to have: experience with speech-to-text or audio/video processing pipelines
• Nice to have: familiarity with semantic search, embeddings, or retrieval systems
• Nice to have: experience building scoring or ranking systems
• Nice to have: awareness of bias and fairness considerations in AI systems

• Build and refine LLM pipelines, including prompt orchestration, context injection, and structured output parsing
• Extract structured skills and supporting evidence from unstructured resumes
• Develop scoring logic that compares candidates against role-specific benchmarks
• Design adaptive assessment flows that adjust question difficulty based on candidate performance
• Create evaluations that verify the consistency and correctness of AI outputs
• Work across multiple LLM providers and manage provider-specific differences cleanly
