Nurse Practitioner, Surgery - Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center

Atlantic Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join the Department of Surgery at Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center in Morristown, NJ. The department utilizes progressive surgical methods and advanced technology to provide outstanding patient care. Responsibilities Work collaboratively with all members of the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care to patients. Support the surgical house staff in the care of patients requiring surgical consultation, preoperative and postoperative management under an attending surgeon’s supervision with or without surgical house staff involvement. Qualifications Graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program. Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey. ACLS and BLS certification required. 1.5 or more years of experience in Nursing or a relevant area. Must have excellent communication and computer skills. Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently.
