Physician Assistant, PD, Cardiovascular Surgery - Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center

Atlantic Health, one of New Jersey's largest non‑profit healthcare networks, is seeking a per diem Physician Assistant (PA) to join the nationally recognized Cardiac Surgery team at Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center. This role involves serving as the first assist in the operating room for cardiac surgeries and providing expert post‑operative care to patients. Responsibilities Serve as first assist in the operating room during cardiac surgeries. Provide post‑operative care for cardiac surgery patients. Perform Endoscopic Vein Harvesting, Open Radial Artery Harvesting, and Femoral Vessel Exposure. Place central and arterial lines, insert chest tubes, and perform suturing. Qualifications Master's degree as Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant from an accredited program. NP or PA Certification and New Jersey license. DEA and CDS certification. ACLS and BLS certification. Minimum 2–3 years of Critical Care or Cardiology experience. Excellent communication and computer skills. Strong work ethic, team player, capable of working independently.
