Staff Pharmacist - O Fallon, IL

Job Description

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This position offers an engaging opportunity for a licensed pharmacist to provide expert pharmaceutical services within a retail environment. The schedule is structured to support work-life balance while delivering quality patient care during prime pharmacy hours.

Schedule/Hours:

24-30 hours per week
Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Sunday: Emergency orders only, on-call from 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (compensated at $8/hr during on-call hours)

O’Fallon, IL

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately fill, check, and verify prescriptions
Provide professional counseling and medication guidance to patients
Manage typical retail pharmacy operations with attention to safety and compliance

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

Illinois Pharmacy License (required)
PharmD preferred
Experience with PioneerRx pharmacy software is a significant plus
Strong communication skills and commitment to exemplary patient service
