Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations in inpatient or outpatient settings, creating tailored treatment plans based on individual patient needs
• Implement effective physical therapy techniques aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall functionality
• Collaborate integratively with nurses, doctors, case managers, and rehabilitation experts to ensure optimal patient care
• Offer educational support to patients and their families regarding treatment goals, discharge processes, and prescribed exercises for home
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatments administered, and progress, adhering to all regulatory standards
• Engage in interdisciplinary discussions and care team meetings to promote coordinated, comprehensive care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Active state license for Physical Therapist
• Preferred CPR certification
• Additional certifications in specialties (e.g., orthopedic, neurological) are advantageous but not mandatory
